BVS have a range of procedure rooms and specialist equipment, available for use by research staff and students. In order to best support world class research we need the co-operation of our users. Below are the local agreements for rooms and resources within BVS: It is essential to adhere to all entry and quarantine procedures for BVS facilities. BVS provides procedure room space to all researchers which are bookable and are not designated to a single user or group. This may mean sharing procedure space where it is practical and being considerate to other users. If you are unable to use the room that is booked you must cancel the booking so that others can use it instead. It is essential to receive training in the use of equipment within many of the procedure rooms. This can be arranged through the BVS facility manager. After using the procedure rooms, they should be left clean and tidy. It is not the job of the facility staff to clean up after you. When considering purchasing new equipment that is to be used in the facilities, please contact BVS to ensure that there is sufficient space and service provision (electricity, internet, plumbing etc.) If you use the last of any supplies, please inform the Unit manager or a member of staff so that it can be replaced Please report any damaged, non-functional or broken equipment as soon as possible to the Unit Manager so that it can be fixed or replaced. Resource Booking Instructions Bookings of BVS procedure rooms, and specialist equipment can be made via Outlook/Office 365 calendars. This article was published on 2024-05-07
